Superior Surface – With a molded-in, skid-resistant diamond pattern, Hubbell Lightweight Covers deliver a safer, abrasion-resistant surface. No Maintenance – Hubbell Ultra Light Covers contain no metal or concrete and have a 55kV dielectric strength, so that they don’t attract or accumulate static electrical charge like metal covers. Because they are neither metal nor concrete, Hubbell Ultra Light Covers will not rust, crumble, or corrode. They require no maintenance, and unlike iron or steel, there is no scrap value to attract thieves. Custom Colors and Identifications – Hubbell Ultra Light Covers can be manufactured in a variety of custom colors to desig- nate utility type and they can be identified with the owner’s name and type of service covered. Standard colors include black, brown and gray. Custom Versatility – Trenches aren’t always straight and they don’t always end at just the ideal spot to ac- cept a full cover. To accommodate odd sizes and strange angles, we customize covers to fit your trenches, regardless of shape. Ultra Light Trench Covers are not designed to be modified or cut in the field.
