If your work is at a hotel venue, then stay at that hotel. Taxis For shorter in-city journeys taxis are fine to travel between airport, venue or hotel. Car Mileage Our standard UK mileage rate is currently £0.45 per mile. The US mileage rate follows the IRS standard set annually.
