12 | A Alignment of side ceramic elements

The side elements can now be mounted. When attaching, the holders between the flange nuts must be threaded in. If the transition from the lower to the side ceramic element does not fit precisely, the side part must be removed again and the nuts readjusted accordingly. The upper end of the side part can be aligned when installed. The upper end of the side part must be aligned with the door frame.

B

Spring steel

The spring steel presses the side ceramic element out- wards – this pressure can be countered or the element can be adjusted using flange nut B. Do not tighten lock nut A yet, see point 16.

Lower mounting bracket

The spring steel presses the side ceramic element out- wards – this pressure can be countered or the element can be adjusted using flange nut B. If the transition from the lower to the side ceramic element does not fit precisely, the side part must be removed again and the nuts readjusted accordingly. The lower mounting bra- cket is not fitted with a lock nut as this can no longer be tightened at a later stage.

Attention: It is not possible to establish whether or not the side element is correctly aligned until the ceramic ele- ment has been mounted (alignment). If the upper element is offset, move it away from the wall again until you can access the screws to readjust it (see point 16).

Due to production-related tolerances, it may be necessary to remove the counterflange nut (A) to achieve optimum alignment of the elements – this will not affect the function.
