16 Aligning the cladding – offset side and upper ceramic elements.

Although the side element has been aligned with the door frame, it may be offset in relation to the upper element. This cannot be established until the upper element has been installed. The optimum setting can now be achieved by adjusting the flange nuts on the top of the side elements. For this purpose, the top element must be shifted away from the wall once or several times until the optimum setting (alignment) is achieved.

For more information, see point 12 A, page 21.

After carrying out the final setting of the height and alignment, use the counterflange nuts to fix the side elements in place.

Gently slide the upper ceramic element forwards into the precise setting of the side elements until the adjustment screws can fit into these elements. Attention: Risk of tipping over! The upper ceramic element must be held in place by a second person. When sliding the upper ceramic element forwards again, gently lift it to avoid damaging the side elements. Repeat the procedure until the required result is achieved.
