Themost recent DCM ES-2G testing platform extends the high-frequency measurement range to test Cat 5e/6/6a/7/7a cables up to 2.2GHz. This bench-top system is optimized to test next-generation 40Gb/s Cat 8 cables. The heart of the system is a Windows ® -based software engine.

PWM’s M101 cold welder, for joining copper wire 1mm to 3.6mm and aluminum 1mm to 5mm, can also used to weld profiles and strips for armoring lines. PWM also produces powered cold welders for bonding copper wire and rod up to 25mm and aluminum to 30mm.

Rosendahl Nextrom has focused strongly on extrusion materials and advanced manufacturing technology. Cable manufacturing which requires the processing of high temperature materials (PEEK, PI and fluoropolymers such as FEP, PFA and X-ETFE) has been further developed and the results will be presented at this year’s show. Also at the show will be optical fiber manufacturing solutions and a new high performance secondary coating line geared up to 1,000m/min, as well as a range of extrusion and crosshead technology. Rosendahl Nextrom is a global supplier of production technologies for cable, wire and optical fiber.

Designed for joining wire in confined spaces, PWM’s hand-held M10, M25 and M30 machines are comfortable to hold and simple to operate, using finger or hand pressure. Welding capacities range from 0.1mm to 1.8mm. The larger BM30 model, which can be used on a workbench or supplied with an optional cart, provides a strong, reliable weld on non-ferrous wire of 0.3mm to 1.8mm diameter.
