MEDLEY BROTHERS KENTUCKY Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey #952862 / 750ml / $21.99

RANSOM OREGON “The Emerald 1865” Straight American Whiskey LIMITED #691317 / 750ml / $69.99

Little brother to Wathen’s Single Barrel Kentucky Bourbon, it’s the ideal cocktail bourbon with its high proof and low price. Medley Brothers 4YO is very rich with good wood flavors, but with a little bit of grain too. (77% corn, 10% rye, and 13% barley malt aged in oak) While this Bourbon is higher proof than most, its smooth cocoa and barrel notes make it a delicious choice. A seriously good Bourbon for the money and an incredibly-priced 100+ proof bourbon to target the craft cocktail movement. Uses the same recipe as Wathen’s Kentucky Bourbon, but aged longer. This bourbon is medium to dark amber in color, featuring aged vanilla, sweet pecan, caramel, and oak flavors. The sugar and barrel flavors of this smooth drink are well balanced. If you want this beautiful Kentucky bourbon, you better do so quickly, this is a very limited release and will go fast! “Fat, full mouthfeel and elegant finish...neither the highest proof nor the most expensive, but…the near-unanimous choice for best bourbon.” “Best Bourbon” Paste Magazine “Best of Show” Denver Int’l Spirits Competition ‘13 Old Medley 12 Year Bourbon #749556 / 750ml / $49.99 / LIMITED PINE BARRENS LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK Pine Barrens Single Malt Whisky #591524 / 375ml / $34.67 Pine Barrens uses a finished 10% ABV barley wine English styled Ale Beer that has a high hop count of 70 IBU’s. The Ale beer is traditionally brewed to its perfect drinkability, double pot distilled, and finally aged in petite new American Oak casks to achieve an incredibly high quality whisky. The result is spicy, rich velvet smooth maltiness, sweet hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and caramel qualities on the finish. Aging in charred new-oak mellows out this little gem and results in a stunning riff on classic whiskey. Pine Barrens Cherrywood Single Malt Whisky Master Distiller Rich Stabile brews English style Barley Wine Ale, a heavily hopped hearty brew, then double distills in copper pot stills to create Pine Barrens American Single Malt Whisky. With this new Cherrywood Pine Barrens, the malts used in the brew are soaked over Cherrywood to add an additional layer of flavor prior to the fermentation process. Not peated, but a sweet smoky aroma enhances the spirit. An American Classic in the making. 94pts Ultimate Spirits Challenge, 2017 #336593 / 375ml / $37.99 #979228 / 750ml / $66.15

Based on an 1865 Irish whiskey recipe, The Emerald’s mash bill is malted barley, unmalted barley, malted rye and oats. Aged 3 years in a mixed cooperage of French and American oak, hand bottled, waxed and labeled. The result is a highly aromatic spirit with the weight, richness, and complexity of its forbearers. “...a delightful hybrid of Irish and Northwest whiskey brilliance. The Emerald is a gem of a dram…” — Ramsay’s Dram. Gold Medal SF World Spirits Competition 2014 WhipperSnapper Oregon Whiskey #503445 / 750ml / $23.99 Only a distiller who really knows what he’s doing could get away with creating a whiskey like this. This young, ambitious whiskey has more character than whiskeys 10 times its age! Ransom’s distillers thought way outside the box here, and the result is one of the most fascinating youngsters on the market. A blend of a proprietarily distilled malt whiskey blended with an unaged Kentucky bourbon. The blend is then aged in a variety of barrels including used French Pinot Noir barrels and new charred oak barrels. Compelling and fun to play with in cocktails. “Best New Spirits of the Year” The Huffington Post; RESERVOIR DISTILLERY VIRGINIA Reservoir Distillery handcrafts single run, small batch whiskies that are aged and bottled in Richmond, VA.
