Grounds Tips for your Home: Good M orning Do it Yourselfers! A brief tip on landscape management : Here are two pictures : one is of shrubs that are individually sheared into little balls and the second group as a managed mass planting which is the designers intent. Why do folks feel they have to work three times as hard and shear these balls or boxes of shrubs when the intent was to have a mass planting? This drives me absolutely crazy and there is not a single landscape that we manage that does not have this. Rome wasn’t changed in a day and neither will our landscapes, but we are working on that and will get there. Remember, just because the other person managed it for years that way doesn’t make it right!
