Please come and participate in the dedication of the Toll of the Sea Memorial that was made possible by contributions in memory of Sanford Doughty. Living on the sea is dangerous and, Chebeague has lost more than its share of folks over the years. In addition, last spring the Maine Legislature issued a Legislative Sentiment in honor of Mabel Doughty for her long-time dedication to the Chebeague Community. Our State Representatives and others will be on hand to make the posthumous presentation.

The Chebeague Island Council will be holding the annual membership meeting on Saturday August 13 at 9:00 a.m. at the Parish House. We encourage all members to attend.
