AFTERNOON ADVENTURE FOR GIRLS (VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING) Join us online for a modified version of the Afternoon Adventures for Girls program utilizing the Zoom meeting platform. No physical sports or games; just fun crafts, trivia challenges and laughs. Details about how to connect with the online meeting and when to pick up crafting supplies will be sent prior to the start of the class. Virtual program!

BABYSITTERS TRAINING Learn the responsibilities of babysitting through this American Red Cross class. This class will teach leadership skills, supervision techniques, safety, emergency and first aid care, personal safety, feeding infants and young children along with the business aspect of babysitting. Participants will need to bring a bag lunch. This class is designed with social distancing and safety in mind. Each participant will have his or her own table, materials, supplies and mannequins. Day Dates Time Ages Cost Code Registration deadline: One week before class WILDLIFE EXPLORERS This program is a fun, low-barrier program of the Natural Recreation and Park Association, designed to connect youth to nature by encouraging exploration and increasing kids’ comfort with spending time in nature. This nature discovery program focuses on environmental likability. Participants will learn about a variety of topics including weather watching, animal sounds, creature habitats, rivers and streams, insects, and much more! Participants should bring a water bottle, bug spray and sunscreen each day and wear closed-toe shoes and clothing you won’t mind getting dirty. AFTERNOON ADVENTURE FOR GIRLS (IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING) Take an adventure with us to do a variety of arts and crafts, music, sports and games. You’ll have a great time doing creative projects and staying connected with your friends. Westminster Park, 801 Valley View Road E. Day Dates Time Ages Cost Code AMERICAN RED CROSS: CPR/AED/FIRST AID - BLENDED LEARNING Learn the lifesaving skills of CPR, how to use a BVM to increase effectiveness of CPR and techniques for administering first aid to those in need. Participants in this class will work to receive an American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certificate that is good for two years. This is a blended class with some materials done online ahead of time. One week prior to class the online materials will be emailed. This class is designed with social distancing and safety in mind.
