NROTC The Naval Science Department is a program which provides a course ofstudy for students interestedin becoming officers in the UnitedStates Navyor MarineCorps. Theprogram isnot lim­ ited to Naval Science classes (naval weapons systems, ship systems, engineering, seapower & maritime affairs, navigation & naval operations, naval leadership & management, and amphibious operations/evolution of conflict), but also includesa variety of professional, intramuralnd socialactivities designed to stimulate bothleadership andtechnical skills.
