Hartpury College Prospectus

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

COURSES

Students are currently required to take three A-levels, which they will complete over two years of study. These will be selected from three option blocks where subjects have been grouped to maximise student choice, choosing one subject from each block. Our timetables have been designed to allow all students the opportunity to maximise their potential. For each subject, students will be in class for six hours a week and study times are allocated for students living on site. Timetables are designed to give students the ability to pursue an elite sport or other enrichment as part of the college day. With all this in mind, you will leave Hartpury with more than good grades. Our A-level offer is designed to provide you with the academic and life skills that are essential for university, study and employment. We teach using modern materials and our virtual learning environment allows you to prepare and study outside of the classroom so that you are able to reach your potential. General A-level entry requirements | You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade A*- C (9-4 numerical equivalent) or above as well as the specific GCSE subjects and grades required by each subject as detailed right. * Please note there are additional science-related entry requirements for these subjects. Please go to www.hartpury.ac.uk for more information.
