King of the rapids | Hartpury’s Outdoor Adventure students were given the lowdown on the thrills and spills of being an international white water kayaker last year when former student Eddy Mead returned to the college. only 10 recipients to be awarded an Interski Scholarship after making her way through a gruelling selection process that saw her pitted against more than 1,000 people. The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Outdoor Adventure student is being sponsored by the company to achieve her British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) Level 1 and 2 qualifications, with the opportunity to gain employment at the end of the process.
