Setting our students apart Everyone studying a Further Education programme will complete the unique Hartpury Study Programme Certificate, which will help you stand out from the crowd when you apply for a university place or for a job when you leave Hartpury. While your main qualification covers the practical and knowledge aspects of the area in which you hope to gain employment, the life skills and experience that you gain when on work experience and duties are just as important. You will evidence these by completing a Skills for Employability booklet. Hartpury College has excellent links with employers within the area – and the skills in your booklet have been suggested by or endorsed by them. To achieve your Hartpury Study Programme Certificate at the end of your course, you must complete:

• Your main qualification • All duties and/or work experience • Your Skills for Employment booklet • English and Maths qualifications as required • Personal Development and Wellbeing e-learning units

Your Hartpury College Certificate will demonstrate to employers and universities not only your dedication and commitment to your studies but also that you have developed the softer skills that are so essential as you continue your journey beyond Hartpury, ensuring that you will be day one ready when you enter the workplace. And, at the end of your time with us, we’ll celebrate your achievements with you, your family, your tutors and guests at our annual Prize Day ceremony. Previous guest speakers have included Great Britain Paralympian and Hartpury Sports Ambassador, Mel Nicholls, and British Lions rugby star, Scott Quinnell.
