After exercising in perspective geometry at some length, the authors decided to go for a deformed polygon. The outline of the building has been developed with the help of computer-aided design, which allowed creating both a diversity of shape and letting spaces flow one into the other. This elaborately arranged house could have been made of folded metal sheets – it looks like a foldout toy made of a piece of paper. The architects them- selves have compared the project to an origami bottle. The name of the project – the Klein bottle house – gives a complete explanation of how its form has been generated.
