PARK SHELTERS & FACILITIES A variety of facilities located within the city’s parks and trail system are available for use by the public. For exclusive use of a facility for a given date and time, a shelter reservation is required and can be made by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at least seven days in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Rental fees and deposit must be paid with the submission of the reservation form.

LOG CABIN RENTALS | 1099 ADAMS ST. S. Located in Lions Park, the Log Cabin Building is comfortable and quiet, suitable for all types of get-togethers. It features a kitchenette area, tables, chairs, and restrooms. RENTALS

OUTDOOR ICE RINKS Shakopee Parks and Recreation’s outdoor skating rinks are open mid-December through late February, weather permitting. Skating Rink/Warming House Locations: ■ Green Meadows Park , 3100 Thrush St. ■ Lions Park , 1103 Adams St. S. (no warming house) ■ Southbridge Park , 7101 Southbridge Parkway ■ Westminster Park , 801 Valley View Rd. E. Warming Houses will be staffed, depending on availability, Jan. 2–end of the season. WARMING HOUSE HOURS: Mon.–Fri.: 5:30–9 p.m. Sat.–Sun.: 1–8 p.m. RINK LIGHTS: To turn on push the Rink Lights button, near the rink entrance, between 4 and 10 p.m. Westminster Park lights are on an automatic timer and will turn on at sunset and turn off at 10 p.m. COLD WEATHER POLICY: Rinks will be closed if the temperature is -10 degrees or colder, or if the windchill is -15 degrees or below. When in doubt, call the Recreation Hotline at 952-233-9502.

The Log Cabin is available for groups and private rentals, daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Reservation forms are available on the city website or online at ShakopeeMN.gov/ registration ■ Full day, Friday–Sunday and holidays ■ Hourly, Monday–Thursday ■ Reservations are now being accepted through January 31, 2026

Log Cabin

THE COVE AT SANDVENTURE | 1101 ADAMS ST. S. The Cove is a bright and inviting rental space located within SandVenture Aquatic Park, featuring two walls of windows that provide ample natural light. This versatile room is ideal for meetings, celebrations, and social gatherings. It is equipped with a television and built-in speakers to support presentations or music. The space is tobacco-free and can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests with tables and chairs provided. Food and Catering: All food and beverage service is provided exclusively through Tommy’s Malt Shop. ■ For groups of 15 or more, catering must be arranged in advance using Tommy’s special catering menu. ■ For groups of 14 or fewer, food will be served via table service from their regular menu. Please note that food and beverage costs are not included in the rental fee. Availability: The Cove is available for rental daily, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Half day rentals: 8 a.m.–1 p.m. or 3–8 p.m. | Full day rental: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. SHELTER RENTALS & FEES

Park Hours: 6 a.m.–10 p.m. All picnic shelters are available March 1 through November 30, however bathroom
