Trailer Loading - Official Rules: 1. Time starts with flag. 2. Trailer gate must be shut when time starts. 3. Cow/steer must be caught within 30 seconds and loaded by hand into trailer. 4. Door on trailer must be shut, latched, and all team members must be out of the trailer and in the circle before time is called. Rope must be clear of the trailer. 5. Trailer will remain stationery at all time during this event. Time stops with the flag. 6. Two-minute time limit. Wild Cow Milking - Official Rules: 1. Four-man team; anyone may rope; roper who catches cow must milk the cow. 2. Cow will be at end of arena; cowboys will be at opposite end. 3. When flag drops, cowboys may start. 4. Cow must be caught within 30 seconds. Rope must pass over cow’s head. 5. Muggers dismount and mug the cow; rope must be on the ground before the cow is milked. Cow must be on her feet. After milking, anyone may run on foot with the bottle in hand to the circle to stop the time and must hand the bottle to the judge for inspection. 6. Rope must be removed before the milker enters the circle. 7. Judge must pour milk and there must be at least a “drop” out of the bottle to receive time. 8. One and one-half minutes (90 seconds) time limit.
