Track Changes options

NOTE Although you can manually select from 16 different colors to indicate changes, if the By author option is selected, Word only uses eight different colors to identify the authors. If there are more than eight authors, it cycles through the same colors again to identify the additional authors. Some changes to tables are too complex to be tracked. In these situations, Word displays a message warning that the change is not tracked. You have the option of continuing or canceling the action.
