Adventures in Vancouver

This glittering city of glass, hugged by soaring mountains and the pristine waters of the Pacific, always ranks highly in livability and quality-of-life polls. It’s not hard to see why. World-class restaurants with fresh produce in the hands of creative chefs and bartenders, top designers alongside innovative fresh faces, beaches, mountains and some of the best natural scenery on earth. A relatively modern city (it celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2011) with an ethnically diverse population, tribal trends vary from the designer set in Yaletown toting tiny dogs in handbags to the bearded hipsters of Main Street, with craft beer and home-brewed kombucha. But the city unites over

shared loves of hockey, sushi and the great outdoors. From hiking and paddleboarding in summer to winter skiing and snowshoeing, adventure awaits at every corner of this Pacific Northwest gem.
