Women at the frontline of climate change
To reduce the vulnerability of women, and increase the capacity of society as a whole to adapt to a changing climate, women will have to be central in the coming decades if sustainable adaptation strategies are to be implemented.
Gender-sensitive responses will require more than the collection of disaggregated data illustrating differential impacts on women and men (if available). They will require an in-depth understanding and rigorous analysis of existing inequalities
