MR. HENRY T. B. ROBINSON, Solicitor, died upon the 15th May, 1931, at his residence 3 Cambridge Terrace, Leeson Park, Dublin. Mr. Robinson served his apprenticeship with Mr. Edward White, Dublin, was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1909, and practised as a member of the firm of Taylor and Robinson at 19 St. Andrew Street, Dublin. MR. HENRY BLACKALL, Solicitor, died upon the 22nd May, 1931, at Pembroke Road, Dublin. Mr. Blackall was admitted in Michaelmas Term, 1873, and practised at Limerick up to 1921, when he retired. He was Provincial Delegate for Munster on the Council from 1895 to 1917. MR. MAURICE MCCARTIE, Solicitor, died upon the 22nd May, 1931, at his residence, Killarney. Mr. McCartie was admitted in Hilary Sittings,1887, and practised at Killarney. MR. JOHN GRAHAM, Solicitor, died upon the 26th May, 1931, at his residence, " Lisanore," Antrim Road, Belfast. Mr. Graham served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Williams J. C. Mills, Belfast, and practised at Donegall Street, Belfast. PROFESSORSHIP OF REAL PROPERTY, EQUITY AND CONVEYANCING. The Council will, on Thursday, 25th June, 1931, elect a Professor of Real Property, Equity and Conveyancing to the Society, in room of Mr. John J. Early, Solicitor, whose term of office will expire at the end of Trinity Sittings. The newly-elected Professor will enter upon his duties next October. The appointment will be made for one year, and the person appointed will be eligible for re-appointment for each of the four succeed– ing years. A candidate for the Professorship must be either a Barrister or a Solicitor, and intending applicants are requested to send their applications before the 16th June to the Secretary of the Society, 45 Kildare Street, Dublin. The Professor will be required to deliver forty-two lectures in the year, between the months of September and July, and to conduct viva voce examinations on the subjects of the lectures. The lectures are delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays between two and three o'clock, p.m. Enquiries for further particulars should be addressed to the Secretary.
