ambda Chi Alpha returned to the University of San Diego during the spring of 1995. Lambda Chi Al– pha was founded as a progressive fraternity, and that tradition has never changed. We were the first fraternity to abolish the concept of pledging in 1968. Also, Lambda Chi sponsors the largest single-day fraternity phi– lanthropy, the North American Food Drive, each November. Internation– ally, Lambda Chi Alpha ranks as one of the largest fraternities with 223 chapters and colonies with more than 213,000 initiated members since our founding in 1909.
