2016Bluestone

Sunday May 24th, 2015 T.E. Gleason Night comes on but not dark enough Nor dew enough to wet frog hair For Pollux has a lover’s heart It beats as bright as Venus can While the Lion sits upon the moon

A silver slice is all that shows And Jupiter in its lengthy paws To be its keep for a year or so.

Is Leo the reason it is so dry? Or is it something to do with prey. The hay is content to lie as it is And may not even care for the reason Unless it finds itself in December Burnt and barren, the pawn of the fool’s charade. We may know then, what we don’t know now But we’ll never know why Nor maybe even remember And our guess may be As misleading as the truth Which we’ll never really know anyway

Since Pollux will never love again While the Lion roars with Jupiter And the moon slips away once more On a clear, dry night in May.
