Mini-Circuits’ Coaxial Directional Coupler, 2 to 50GHz Mini-Circuits’ model ZCDC10-V254+ is a wideband 10-dB directional coupler with typical coupling flatness within ±0.3dB from 2 to 50GHz. Well suited for power monitoring and measurement applications, the50-Ωdirectional coupler handles as much as 13 W input power with 28dB typical return loss to 50GHz. Mainline insertion loss is typically 0.9dB from 2 to 18GHz, 1.3dB to 40GHz, and 1.7dB to 50GHz. Directivity is typically 32 dB from 2 to 18GHz, 23dB from 18 to 40GHz, and 20 dB from 40 to 50GHz. The RoHS-compliant coupler measures 2.25×0.70×0.50 in. (57.15×17.78×12.70 mm) not including its 2.4-mm female coaxial connectors. Mini-Circuits’ MMIC LNA Quiets 4 to 18GHz and Beyond Mini-Circuits’ model PMA2-183LN+ is a broadband MMIC low-noise amplifier (LNA) designed for applications from 4 to 18 GHz and usable to 20GHz. Small- signal gain is typically 13.2dB at 4GHz, 10.9dB at 15GHz, 10.2dB at 18GHz, and 9.3dB at 20GHz. Typical noise figure is low, spanning 2.7dB at 4GHz to 2.5dB at 18GHz, and only 2.9dB at 20GHz. Based on E-PHEMT technology, the LNA is supplied in an eight-lead 50-Ω MCLP surface-mount package measuring 2×2 mm but capable of moderately high output power. Typical output power at 1-dB compression is +16dBm at 4GHz, +15.8dBm at 15GHz, and +14.6dBm at 18GHz. The typical output third-order intercept point (IP3) is +31dBm at 4GHz, +28.1dBm at 15GHz, and +27.7dBm at 18GHz. The LNA draws 48.2 mA from a single +5-V dc supply. Mini-Circuits’ Coaxial Adapter Links 2.44-mm NMD to 2.92-mm Mini-Circuits’ model KF-24MNMD+ is a 2.44- mm NMD male to 2.92-mm female coaxial adapter that allows low-loss interconnection of coaxial connectors, cables, and other components from DC to 40GHz. The 50-Ω coaxial adapter features flat signal response across its wide frequency range, with typical insertion loss of 0.06dB from DC to 40GHz. Reflections are minimized by means of typical VSWR of 1.06:1 from DC to 40GHz. The RoHS-compliant coaxial adapter is 0.846 in. (21.5 mm) long. It is constructed of passivated stainless steel for long operating lifetime. It maintains consistent electrical performance across an operating temperature range of -55 to +100°C.
