At Right: The home of the Padres for World Series play in 1998 was just up Friars road from USO, at Qualcomm Park. However, the stadium marque proudly supported the proposition for a new baseball park. Below: View of th e Hotel Del Coronad o from Cabrillo a tional monument on Point Loma. The Del is the most famous hotel in San Diego county. It houses attractions for day visitors as well as night, and has been host to several USO formals.
