Women's Soccer

This year's women's soccer team had an excellent all

around season with a record of12-6-2. They expected to place third in the WCC and they were able to accomplish their goal.

They played in manytournaments including the California Berkeley

Tournamentwherethey lostto Stanford 1-3, but then they were able to come back with a 2-1 win over Berkeley. They also played in the University of Hawaii tournament where they won over Oregon with a score of 2-0, and then they lost to Hawaii 0-2. Although the season was excellent the women have their sights set on the NCAA tournament playoffs for nextyear. "We had an excellent season but we're a little bit disappointed about playoffs. We proved to ourselves that we could be as good as most oft he tea ms out there, now we just have to prove it to

others." sa id Jessica Crothers and Heather Swanson.
