Düsseldorf delivers! General information

wire 2008 – the premier international event in the wire and cable industry – showcases cutting-edge technology and the latest groundbreaking developments. The show includes wire, cable and fibre optic machinery products; spring manufacturing technology and fastener technology. Running alongside this is Tube Düsseldorf – the international tube and pipe trade fair – and Metav, the international fair for manufacturing technology and automation. Demand for wire and cable products is rising in many regions of the world, especially in Asia, the forward-looking Eastern European economies and the Middle East. Testimony to this is the number of exhibitors due to appear at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds between 29 th March and 4 th April – with more than 3,000 expected. Also helping to break all records this year will be a record number of more than 100,000 trade visitors at the showgrounds.
