*The amount is based on the difference from RSU#16 budget 2.0 to budget 3.0 FY ’25 assessment for Mechanic Falls. This amount represents in effect, the overcharge of local education to the Mechanic Falls FY ’25 tax commitment. The intent of this article is to effectively use the overcharge to offset and reduce the FY ’26 cost of education for Mechanic Falls.
