These are several of the beers that you will enjoy at the Bullquarian Brewhouse, just off the downtown square not far from the historic Courthouse. Co-owners Ethan and Michelle Kister’s zodiac signs are Taurus the Bull and the Age of Aquarius, which made for a good match when they decided to open a Taproom. What started out as a hobby has progressed to a successful family business. “Three or four of our customers’ favorites are always on tap,” said Ethan. “And then we rotate through another 55 different beers or so depending on the season.” Ethan also is a drummer in the band Carper Diem and is very connected to the local music scene. If you’re into a variety of music including Bluegrass, Celtic, Americana, Blues, Rock and Roll, then the Bullquarian Brewhouse proves you can have great craft beer and great music, too.
