TRAINING The City will provide all employees with the required safety training to perform their job in a safe manner. Employees will be required to attend mandatory safety training.

SAFETY COMMITTEE The City has established a Safety Committee to promote a safe and healthy work environment. The purpose of the Committee is to evaluate accidents, operating practices, and the handling of City supplies, materials, and equipment, and to assess training needed to ensure a safe workplace. The Committee will study issues and make recommendations to the City Manager that promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for City employees, protect the public’s resources, and reduce City exposure to risk and loss.
