Lambda Chi Alpha returned to the University of San Diego during the spring of 1995. Lambda Chi Alpha was founded as a progressive fraternity, and that tradition has never changed. We were the first to abolish the concept of pledging in 1968. Also, Lambda Chi Al– pha sponsors the largest single– day fraternity philanthropy, the North American Food Drive, each November. Internation– ally, Lambda Chi Alpha ranks as one ofthe largest fraternities with 223 chapters and colonies with more that 213 ,000 initi– ated members since our found– ing in 1909. L
