I Appeal To Caesar!

The nearby crowd stares in silent amazement as the miracle transpires before them.

“Be healed, daughter!” Jesus boldly confirms the healing and places a divine seal of approval on all that has occurred. Then . . . He pauses . . . gazing at Rachel . . . unspoken words are silently conveyed from His mind to hers: “Never again say you are abandoned!” Rachel whispers to herself, “How could I ever have doubted?” Jesus utters a prophetic word to the whole group. “My daughter, the heavenly Father has a work for you and your friends to do. Remember, you are greatly loved. Soon you will be living in another place and serve me there. Farewell, for now, my children, for I must leave you and go to the Temple and minister to others.” Turning, Jesus walks unobstructed through the opening in the crowd and again mounts the uncomplaining donkey. The crowd, riveted in time and space, watches in stunned silence. The prophet from Nazareth smiles grandly and waves farewell to His new friends. The donkey begins to trot forward, and the crowd erupts in explosive jubilation; those closest to the miracle shout with unrestrained enthusiasm their praise of God!
