I Appeal To Caesar!

Within a few days, darkness will descend on Jerusalem. Jesus the healer will be crucified outside the city walls. Anxious disciples will go into hiding. Three days after the Crucifixion, Jesus will rise from the dead! The rumor will be circulated that the disciples stole His Body from the tomb; however, Jesus is very much alive! The full hostility of Caiaphas for Jesus now transfers to those Jews who believe in Jesus and His resurrection, he calls them “The Jesus People.” The servants at the High Priest’s Palace realize that a major change has taken place. Amram does not dare communicate with anyone in the Palace about the divine healing of his mother. Since he, his mother, and their friends have all become fervent believers in Jesus Christ, they realize the delicacy, and danger, of their situation. A new group of friends has entered the lives of Amram, Rachel, and their small group; all of them are solid followers of Jesus the Resurrected Christ. Each believer realizes the danger of being a follower of Jesus in Jerusalem. A year has passed after the crucifixion of Jesus, and the new believers in Jesus the Christ still attend synagogue and Temple—but also meet secretly in homes to pray and discuss Jesus’ teachings.
