Jesus’ approach to Saul is both powerful yet humble, He introduces Himself as the Christ whom Saul has been hurting so badly! Saul is not a prisoner of war being interrogated under a bright light. He is simply being introduced to the one he has unjustly and intensely hated.

Jesus now comes as an inquiring friend, not a

destructive enemy.
