“Saul,” answers Jesus, “My last command to my original twelve apostles was to go into all the world and ‘make disciples of all the nations.’ Unfortunately, many well- meaning Christian Jews are so settled in the teachings of the Law, they cannot realize the new Covenant of Grace that I initiated on the Cross is now in effect for all people. “With your deeper understanding of the ‘Grace of God,’ I want you to be a leader — both in actions and in instructional writing. Bring Truth to the people of God. Use metaphors, like the illustration of the human body with its different functioning parts and make all of my people active participants in the Kingdom of God. Tell them ‘There is only one people of God, one Israel, one Body of Christ, and it is composed of both Jews and Gentiles!’ “Some of the legalists in the churches will fight the concept of Gentiles becoming my followers without circumcision and other laws. Be strong in introducing grace for all people, and the necessity of God’s people reaching out to all racial groups. Do not overburden new believers with laws that have no relevance or significance.”

Saul inquires, “But where shall I go? How shall I

start?”

“Return to Damascus,” Jesus replies. “Stay only momentarily there; do not linger, for the enemy still searches for you. Return secretly to Jerusalem, share with Peter and hear his heart. You will be advised to return home to Tarsus; do this and begin to share in your hometown what you now know. When you have been there for a suitable time, you will be called by a good friend to another city nearby where you
