I Appeal To Caesar!

What a glorious occasion! Every heavenly citizen joins the vast assembly of “the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven.” The two great leaders of the Church of Jesus have arrived! All heaven knows these two dedicated men, either by association, name, or frequent discussion. This would include, of course, every one who had ever read or heard the teachings of the New Testament. Remember, however, that these followers of Jesus at this time had died before any Bibles were printed or distributed. Heaven roars with applause as the two great apostles (no longer bent over, limping and bleeding) stride energetically forward with gratitude and excitement to greet “the” Apostle of their faith, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus’ great arms encompass them both, drawing them to His breast, and heaven rejoices with “joy inexpressible and full of glory!” Jesus takes a special, happy moment to embrace Rufus the Roman Commander, who then falls to his knees in overflowing happiness! * * * * * Think now about the number of Christian Martyr’s deaths on the earth by the year 2,000 AD: 70 Million Christian martyrs! Then, 45 million in the 20 th century alone! Accordingly, consider the great parade of the spirits of martyrs and other saints arriving in heaven each day. The present heaven accommodates the saints of all previous ages. The concept is mind-boggling! * * * * *
