I Appeal To Caesar!

‘Hear, O Israel! The LORD our God, is One.’

“My friends, we are the defenders of Israel’s faith, and we must do what is necessary to ensure the safety of our people and our religion! Every Jew must continue to believe and recite this majestic statement of faith in our homes, synagogues and prayer services throughout the year. We must ever continue to affix this affirmation to our doorposts and inscribe them upon our phylacteries!

be another God!”

“2. My second reference is no surprise either! It comes directly from the Ten Commandments given to Israel at Sinai , and certainly needs no explanation!

‘You shall have no other gods beside Me.’”

“3. My third reference occurred when Moses met God at

Sinai and was told God’s name:

‘I AM THAT I AM’ ( The Eternally Existent One.).

“Jesus in His later teaching proclaimed Himself to be the ‘I AM.’ When arguing with our representatives about being descendants of Abraham, Jesus said, ‘Before Abraham was [i.e., existed], I AM….’ At that time Jews gathered rocks to stone Him to death for blasphemy, but He slipped away and hid Himself. Also, Jesus in a series of teachings continued to declare that He was the great I AM in seven different ways (using the emphatic language mode).
