Credo: “Our architecture evolves in dialogue. The first stage in what we do is to talk about the task, location, and the visions of the developer. It is dur- ing these conversations that images emerge in our minds – strong images, powerful and atmospheric. Out of these images an idea develops – an idea that is unique every time. We strive to ensure our work is detached from dogmas, ideologies and pigeon-holing. We distance ourselves from conventional approaches. Once an idea is strong enough we plan more con-

cretely and let real buildings appear without losing sight of our initial idea and the images that we had in our minds at the very beginning. Our aim is to create ar- chitecture with expressive and powerful forms that each time evokes a distinctive mood. When we design houses we value most the sense of security, atmosphere, the irrational and the often unexplicably beautiful. It is the multi-faceted nature and combination of rational and irrational that both interests us and influences our work. This point of view allows us to work on different-sized tasks and proj- ects in an undogmatic and unprejudiced manner. The architecture that emerges naturally and subconciously satisfies people’s needs that they did not know existed before. We plan buildings that are contempory but which at the same time express traditional characteristics that are specific to the cultural context.”

Кредо: «Наша архитектура рождается в диалоге. На первом этапе нашей работы мы говорим о за- дачах, месте и пожеланиях девелопера. Именно во время этих разговоров в нашем сознании рож- даются сильные, яркие образы, из которых созда- ется идея, каждый раз уникальная. Мы стремимся, чтобы наша идея была независима от догм, идео- логий и ярлыков, мы дистанцируемся от традици- онных подходов. Мы стремимся к тому, чтобы при реализации проектов не терялись первоначальная идея и образ, родившиеся в нашем сознании. Наша цель – создавать архитектуру экспрессив- ных и сильных форм, которые каждый раз будут вызывать эмоции. Проектируя жилье, мы ценим прежде всего ощущение безопасности, атмосферу, которая может быть иррациональной и зачастую необъяснимо прекрасной. Сочетание разумного и иррационального нам близко и влияет на нашу работу. Такая точка зрения позволяет нам непред- взято работать над проектами разного масштаба. Архитектура, возникающая естественным обра- зом, удовлетворяет потребности людей, о которых они раньше и не знали. Мы проектируем здания, которые одновременно являются современными и имеют традиционные черты, специфические для культурного контекста».
