Credo: “Characteristic to my architectural credo, including all finished and under construction projects, is the analysis of the architectural, cultural and economic context, and integration of local or regional resources – meaning architectural elements, materials, techniques and work-hand. The goal of my architectural interventions is, by using the regional “language”, responding in a contem- porary way to the changing necessities of a community or family. Small scale projects – family houses and small public buildings – form the core of my work, each of them viewed as a small experiment of re-shaping the past and creating a subtle, discreet present and a good future “neighbor” for its surroundings. On one hand, I see my projects as being part of the evolution of the site, not owning the site, but living together with it and transforming in time together. On the other hand, my goal is to generate a responsible evolution in the local area of my interventions, with a regional approach, that highlights and integrates local values, and in the same time broadens the perspectives and brings them up to date. All my architectural projects are located in a geographic and cultural area, where the totalitarian regime undermined all regional values, offering a unique possibility of seeing and understanding our environment. My strong belief is, that only by re-defining and re-discovering the lost values can we offer a true chance for a strong local and independent development. On a very small scale, my goal is to contribute to this evolution.”

Кредо: «Особенность моего архитектурного мето- да, выраженная во всех законченных и строящих- ся проектах, – это анализ архитектурного, культур- ного и экономического контекста, использование местных ресурсов, в том числе архитектурных элементов, материалов, методов и рабочей силы. Цель моих архитектурных вмешательств – при по- мощи осовремененного регионального «языка» ответить на запросы первой необходимости. Мел- комасштабные проекты – семейные дома и не- большие общественные здания – формируют ядро моего портфолио, каждый из них я рассматривал как маленький эксперимент по переосмыслению прошлого, созданию продуманного настоящего и хорошего будущего «соседа». С одной стороны, я вижу свои проекты частью развития населенно- го пункта, которые не доминируют в нем, но жи- вут и стареют вместе с ним. С другой стороны, моя цель состоит в том, чтобы способствовать развитию поселений, где возникают мои построй- ки, с региональным подходом, который выдвигает на первый план и объединяет местные ценности, и в то же самое время расширяет перспективы и осовременивает их. Все мои архитектурные про- екты расположены в географической и культур- ной области, где тоталитарный режим подорвал местные ценности. Я твердо убежден, что только пересматривая и открывая вновь эти потерян- ные ценности, мы создадим новые направления развития. Моя цель состоит в том, чтобы этому способствовать».
