8.1.3 Preparation of the clutch for fitment g Apply a small quantity of grease (4) in the hub splines, release bearing internal diameter and contact with lever, guide tube and clutch lever contact point (5) Position the cover, center it using the pins, tighten three screws by 120° and check that the disc remains stable and well-centered using the centring tool Tighten each screw slightly in a crosswise sequence. The diaphragm fingers should move as uniformly as possible. Repeat the sequence three times Using a torque wrench, completely fasten the screws (6) Mount the release bearing on the guide tube and check if it slides correctly. g g g g g 8.1.4 Fitting the clutch Position the disc over the flywheel
