8.1.5 Re-assembling the gearbox Check condition of the block pins Position the gearbox coaxially with the engine crankshaft, support the gearbox weight with appropriate tools Introduce the gearbox input shaft into the disc hub ensuring that there is no shock and avoiding excessive force (7) Make sure that the weight of the gearbox is not supported by the disc only during assembly Check for full contact between gearbox and engine block as well as correctly fitted centring pins. Attach gearbox to the engine block using appropriate torque. 8.1.6 After the fitment – verify that the clutch is functioning correctly Disengage and reengage the clutch shifting each ratio (8) Check that there is no abnormal noise during engagement/disengagement Check that there is no abnormal noise at neutral speed and while accelerating up to 4000 rpm Check that there is no abnormal clutch sliding while driving gg g g g g g g g g
