IIW welded art exhibition, 2021

Fabio comes from the hydraulics branch of engineering. He started welding in his father Aldo's company in 2004 with Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMAW) and oxy-acetylene welding. In 2006, he started to learn to use Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and since then has continued to use it. In 2015 he opened his own company Furlan 2.0_Welding and today he has 4 GTAW and MMAW certifications. He started making weldart inspired by his friend Mattia Bross and in 2020 taking advantage of the lockdown he began to make weldart paintings. His style recalls the Japanese and Maori tattoos.
