Supplementary resources available: Revised Ohio Standards for Principals Ohio adopted updated Ohio Standards for Principals in 2018. ODE has made a variety of resources available to educators who need to help others understand the shifts in and intent of the new standards, as well as to compare them to Ohio’s 2005 Ohio Standards for Principals. These resources can be accessed from this link: http://education.ohio.gov/ Media/Ed-Connection/Feb-11-2019/Supplementary-resources-available-Revised-Ohio-St . 2019 Federal Quota Registration of Blind Students registration deadline extended In December 2018, all Ohio school districts received a secure email from the Assistive Technology &Accessible Educational Materials Center (AT&AEMCenter) at OCALI containing the 2019 Federal Quota Registration of Blind Students packet. The Ohio Department of Education’s Office for Exceptional Children asks districts to register every legally blind student attending a district school, including all eligible preschool, homebound, home- schooled and adult students. The submission deadline to return registration packets has been extended to Friday, March 1.
