OUR CLIENT IMPACT • High-quality work at a low cost – our clients get the same transformative technology solutions as our DC office at a local price point. • Community partner – we provide experiential learning to VT and Radford students and hire highly-engaged local talent to deliver technology solutions in our community. • Local, accessible expertise – we live and work in Blacksburg and love it. • Increased client satisfaction and created an intuitive experience for a client, creating electronic library access for 5000+ members to access over 400 safety publications. • Built a new website for a government agency promoting volunteerism around the world, increasing inbound applications by 100% in the first month after launch. • Built a case management application for Homestretch, a non-profit with a mission to move homeless families to self-sufficiency. • Participated in a team working to streamline the federal government’s online immigration processes, resulting in thousands fewer calls to the help desk. • Participated in a team helping the U.S.

The XC provides a supportive environment for students to learn software development skills and languages such as C#, Java, Python and Ruby. Students work part-time under the supervision of full-time Excella consultants, supporting Excella’s client and delivery programs remotely. Many of our graduates have become full-time Excella consultants, while others have joined prominent Fortune 500 companies and innovative start-ups. XC teams work closely with clients to deliver a wide range of technology solutions, including: • Stabilization • IT Modernization • Reducing long-term maintenance costs XC staff are experienced technologists with a passion for teaching others. In addition to teaching and mentoring students, they bring their expertise, knowledge of best practices and polyglot approach (working in Java, C#, Python, Ruby and more) to our work every day.
