Checking brake pad wear (1/2)

NOTE: • Brake pad thickness must be checked at regular maintenance intervals. • Oil contaminated brake pads must be replaced immediately. • Always replace all brake pads by axle, using a new retaining system for brake pads and pressure plates. • To avoid damaging the brake rotor, replace the brake pads when friction material thickness is at or close to the minimum.

• Pad thickness must not be allowed to be less than 0.08” (2 mm), measured from the backing plate.
