Replacing boots and bushings (1/5)

Guide pin disassembly 1. Remove the guide pins from the caliper.

2. Pull the guide pin boot out of the boot seat on the caliper.

3. Place the brake caliper on a firm base for pressing out bushings. The back of the caliper must face upwards.

4. Assemble tool and use to press the bushings out of the caliper.

5. Thoroughly clean the bores in the caliper.
