Exhibitors’ general information

Catering The Bella Center has exclusive right to all catering ac- tivities within the center (see page 31). The list of food and beverage items available can be found in the “Order Forms” part of this manual. For further questions or or- ders contact Ms. Linda Lund Kjer tel. 0045 506046 18 llk@bellacenter.dk Ceiling heights The general maximum height of the exhibition booths lo- cated in sections C3 and C4 of the exhibition hall is 6 me- ters including selected rigging. In the lower section of C2, the maximum height is 5 meters including optional rigging. Changes in dimension or location The EADV reserves the explicit right to change locations or dimensions of the exhibition space on short notice, even after initial confirmation, if necessary. Neither resti- tution nor claims of any kind are applicable. Children and animals Persons under the age of 18 years are not allowed into the exhibition area during the build-up or break-down pe- riods. This also applies to exhibitor’s children. Animals, with the exception of registered guide dogs, may not be brought into the exhibition area at any time. Conduct of exhibitors and representatives The exhibition organisers reserve the right to stop any activity on the part of any exhibitor that may cause an- noyance to other exhibitors or visitors. Business must be conducted only from the exhibitor’s own stand and, under no circumstances, may it be carried out to a gangway or elsewhere within the exhibition area. Exhibition stands should create the opportunity for the company to show and display information relevant to both the company and their products, and other scientific information that they may choose. Activities not related to the practice of the exhibition theme are deemed inap- propriate and may be removed by the organiser. The standard of the exhibition stands will require preap- proval from the EADV and will be under the scrutiny of the EADV. Partially or wholly subleasing or otherwise re- linquishing a stand to a third party as well as private ar- rangements for exchange of stands or floor space between exhibitors without the permission and acceptance of the EADV is prohibited. Advertising material or signs of per-

sons or companies other than those actually renting the space are prohibited. Advertisement material and givea- ways shall be displayed and /or given away only from the exhibitor’s own stand. Leaflets displayed at any other point throughout the premises will be removed and de- stroyed by the exhibition organiser. Political propaganda may not occur at the stand or in any other place within the exhibition area. Projected images, however generated, may not play on to aisles or on to oth- er stands. Exhibitors may not, except by express written permission of the EADV, display directly or indirectly, ad- vertise or give credits to any products other than his own or his named principal’s. Exhibition rates Cost of space: EUR 650 per m 2 (space only, no shell scheme stand included). Minimum booth size: 6 m 2 All prices are net of VAT. Patient organisations Kindly note, that due to the EU and Danish regulations, the Patient organisations will be situated outside the exhibi- tion area. Free space 6m 2 (space only no shell scheme stand included) Furniture: 1 table, 2 chairs Badges: 2 free exhibitor badges Exhibition space includes: n n Use of the space during the exhibition and assembly and dismantling periods. n n The insertion of the full company contact details and profile in the Exhibitor Directory (format to be decided). n n The listing of the company in the Final Programme. n n 2 exhibitor badges for the first 6 sqm booked and one extra badge for each additional 3 sqm (up to a maxi- mum of 10 badges). thorize entrance to the scientific activities and functions of the Congress, with the exception of Satellite Sympo- sia or Meet-the-Expert Sessions. Exhibitor badges can be collected by an authorized person of the company’s staff from the Exhibition registration desk, located at the en- trance level of the congress center. Exhibitor badges To access the exhibition hall exhibitors’ special badges are required. Exhibitors are therefore requested to pre-reg- ister their booth staff. Exhibitors are requested to wear their badge during the Congress. Each exhibiting company will receive the following quantity of exhibitor badges, in- cluded in their space rental.

n n 1 complete congress pack Exhibitors are kindly requested to note that the costs stat- ed do not include any furniture and/or equipment such as: shell scheme booths, partition walls, carpets, electricity, etc. which have to be ordered separately from the Bella Center (see page 31). Exhibitors are also free to install their own booths or to book the fittings with local suppli- ers. Each booth must be separated from the neighbouring ones by means of partition walls. Exhibition cancellation policy All cancellations must be sent in writing by e-mail or fax (exhibition@eadvcongress.org or fax +41 91 973 4530). A cancellation fee will be charged according to the below cancellation policy: n n 10% of the total amount agreed for cancellation re- ceived by EADV the latest 180 working days before the first day of the event; n n 25% of the total amount agreed for cancellations re- ceived by EADV the latest 150 working days before the first day of the event; n n 50% of the total amount agreed for cancellations re- ceived by EADV the latest 120 working days before the first day of the event; n n 100% of the total amount agreed for cancellations re- ceived by EADV later than 120 working days before the first day of the event. The above scheme applies also in case of cancellation of single industry activities agreed upon. Exhibitor and Constructor badges All exhibitors are required to be registered andwill receive a confirmation letter with a barcode in order to be able to print their badges on-site. Each exhibiting company will receive 2 badges/6 sqm of booked exhibition space and 1 extra badge for each additional 3 sqm of space booked, up to a maximum of 10 badges. Additional badges can be pur- chased at a fee of EUR 120 (+VAT if applicable) per badge. The exhibitor badge authorizes access to the exhibition hall and the Networking Symposium, but does not au-

The exhibitors will receive, within February 2015, a user- name a password and an internet link from the EADV reg- istration department to enable them to register on-line (a template based on the total square meters booked will be already set-up). After having registered your staff, you will be sent a confirmation letter for each participant. To print your badge on-site, you will have to have with you the barcode on the letter which has to be inserted to the self-printing machines situated in the registration area. The badges will display the exhibiting company and the name of the representative. Kindly notice that the exhibitor badges do not allow en- trance to the session halls. An “Industry participant” badge, which allows industry members to full congress participa- tion can be bought by registering through the congress reg- istration site, which can be found on the congress website http://eadvcopenhagen2015.org/registration/how-to-register/ (EUR 920 until 13 May 2015, 14 May - 2 September 2015 EUR 1’030 and 3 September until 23 September 2015 EUR 1’070, after which online registration closes and only on- site registrations will be possible).

Exhibitor desks There will be three assigned desks to assist exhibitors in the following issues: 1. EADV Exhibitor registration desk 2. EADV Exhibition office/desk 3. Bella Center Technical exhibitor service desk

Additional exhibitor badges are subject to a fee of EUR 120 (+VAT if applicable) each. These extra badges can be requested and paid online in advance by using the provid- ed company’s username and password no later than 1 September 2015. Constructor badges Access badges for stand constructors as well as exhibi- tor staff needing access to the exhibition hall during the build-up and break-down periods of the exhibition will be given a constructor badge, which can be picked up from the Bella Center’s security desk, located outside the ex- hibition hall. The badges will be given to persons, whose names have been submitted on a name list to the EADV by 23 September 2015 exhibition@eadvcopenhagen.org. An identity document will be requested at pick-up. Access to the exhibition area will not be permitted without the badge. Badges - stand personnel All stand personnel must be registered in order to gain access to the exhibition (see above). Exhibitor Technical Service desk The Bella Center will have an Exhibitor Technical Service desk to assist exhibitors in additional orders and other matters related to their participation to the exhibition, build-up and break-down of their stands. This service will be available during build-up, the exhibition days and breakdown times and will be located in the entrance lobby of the congress center. Exchange, subletting The rights and responsibilities extended to a company by virtue of the confirmation and invoice documentation are absolutely non-transferable and do not permit, even in part, any kind of subletting, exchange and sharing of space or locations to third parties. Exhibition layout The exhibition organisers reserve the right to change the exhibition floorplan if necessary. The exhibition organisers reserve the right in unforeseen circumstances to amend or alter the exact site of the lo- cation of the stand; the exhibitor undertakes to agree to any alteration to the site or the space re-allocated by the exhibition organisers.

EADV Exhibition office/desk The EADV Exhibition office/desk will be located inside the exhibition hall. The staff will assist exhibitors in various problems related to the exhibition, supervise the smooth running of the exhibition and give additional informa- tion related to future events. This service desk will be located by the main entrance and be open throughout the build-up, exhibition days and dis- mantling times (see exhibition schedule p.7) , and will take additional on-site service orders for the stands and assist exhibitors in all issues related to construction, stands, car- peting, electricity etc. Exhibitors are not permitted to: n n Erect or use names or trademarks which may be mis- leading or cause hindrance to the exhibitors at other stands or to the meeting visitors. n n Dismantle or remove any stands prior the end of the meeting. n n Drill, screw or nail the walls, ceilings, floors of the ex- hibition areas. n n Hang advertising from the ceilings of the halls or to af- fix stand parts, posters or other promotional material to walls, etc. of the Bella Center, outside or inside the stand space assigned.

Industry sessions n n Companies may be allowed to distribute flyers and other documents advertising their Satellite sympo- sia prior to the session. These flyers and documents may also be distributed on-site, but only within the limits of the exhibition booth of the company holding the advertised symposium. It is strictly forbidden to distribute handouts in any other areas without prior written permission from the organiser. For symposia addressing issues or research related to prescrip- tion-only medicine or products, leaflets may only be distributed inside the exhibition area. n n Companies are permitted to advertise their Satel- lite symposia on freestanding posters in front of the doors of the rented conference room. Posters must be provided by the sponsors and may be set up not more than 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of the symposium. These advertisements have to state clear- ly, if the symposium is restricted to healthcare profes- sionals only. n n Companies will have access to the designated hall 30 minutes before the assigned starting time. n n The hall should be completely vacated immediately after the end of the Satellite symposium. Companies are responsible for removing all materials, waste, etc. from the room. n n Due to the European Union directive (2001/83/EC, ar- ticle 86) and the Danish Ethical Rules for Promotion of Medicinal Products regarding the prohibition of ad- vertising and promotion of prescription-only drugs to the general public, only healthcare professionals can be invited to attend the Satellite symposia demon- strating research or products of prescription-only drugs or products. In all branding related to the sym- posium, it has to be clearly mentioned. Symposia not related to prescription-only products or research are open and can be advertised to all participants. All in- dustry symposia are open to industry representatives. Island booth regulations Applies to booths potentially accessible from all four sides. n n Keep the stand as a walk-through area with minimal outer walls. n n Be sure to have the booth design approved by the EADV.

n n Paint or glue, in any part of the exhibition area. n n Place articles to be exhibited in a manner, which in the organiser’s opinion, affects or hinders neighbouring stands (e.g. visibility hindrance etc.). Fascia name boards Each shell scheme stand will be provided with a fascia along the open stand front. Note: for safety reasons, ex- hibitors are not permitted to affix their own material to the fascia boards. Freight forwarding and storage DHL is the official freight forwarding agency of the 24 th EADV Congress. DHL representatives can normally be found in the storage area located in the exhibition hall or reached by telephone 0044 7971 581 935. Health and safety at work It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to ensure that his employees and constructors are duly insured and that they comply with the latest legislation regarding health and safety at work. The organisers bear no responsibility for non-compliance and related consequences. Industry hospitality suites All the industry hospitality suites are located on the ground floor of the congress center (see floorplan p. 23) Companies having reserved a hospitality suite for the du- ration of the congress can access the rooms on Tuesday, 6 October 08h00-18h00 for set-up purposes. On the actual congress days 7-10 October 2015 the suites are accessi- ble from 07h30 - 19h00 and on Sunday 11 October 2015 from 07h30 until 12h00. The rooms will be furnished with a basic set of 1 table and 4 chairs if desired. Industry meeting rooms The industry meeting rooms are all located on the ground floor of the congress center. They will be furnished with basic electrical and lighting systems, 1 table, 4 chairs and carpet. They can be reserved for half day ( 08h00- 12h00/13h00-18h00) slots or full day (08h00-18h00) slots. Laser products - live demonstrations Any exhibitor demonstrating or using laser products must submit full details of equipment that will be used. These details must be submitted to the EADV for final approv- al no later than 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the exhibition. Failure to submit adequate details may result in the display being prohibited. Exhibitors must be equipped with suitable fire extinguishers and warning no- tices, which can be ordered from the Exhibitor Technical Service desk. Leaflet distribution Leaflet or other promotional material may not be distrib- uted from anywhere other than the exhibition stands. Leaflets displayed or distributed at any other point throughout the venue will be removed and destroyed by the organiser. Obstruction of gangways and open spaces Exhibitors will not be allowed to display exhibits in such a manner that obstructs the light or impede or project over gangways or affect the displays of neighbouring exhibi- tors. Gangways must at all times be kept clear and free for passage. All emergency exits and access to service areas are to be kept clear at all times and must not be restricted or ren- dered unrecognizable. Public gangways shall remain the means of escape even during build-up and break-down pe- riods. Any exhibitor who continues to cause obstruction or nuisance after notice has been given will be liable to have his/her stand closed by the exhibition organiser at the ex- hibitor’s expense and risk. Organisation - exhibition Realization of the booth design must not deviate in any way with the originally submitted and accepted plans and layouts. The respective minimum and maximum standards for booth construction are determined in this manual and any deviations, however minimal , are only permitted af- ter prior consultation and written consent by the EADV. Booth construction must always be self supporting and may not be attached to wall or floors. Photographs and films Photographing, sketching or otherwise reproducing arti- cles, without the authorization of the exhibitor, is restrict- ed. The organisers cannot accept any liability in this mat- ter. It is up to individual exhibitors to enforce the ban on

their own stands. Nevertheless, exhibitors cannot object to general views of the exhibition being taken with the permission of the organiser, nor the sale or publication of such views. The EADV meetings are usually documented in their en- tirety or in part by an EADV appointed official photogra- pher (s) so that photos and/or videos where the exhibitors or/and their stand appears may be published (also for pro- moting the EADV and any of its activities) in traditional and/or digital media. Should exhibitors wish professional pictures of their stands, the EADV will be pleased to share the contacts of the official photographer. Principal Stand positions cannot be chosen by the exhibitor. The EADV allocates space as well as presentation locations primarily under consideration of the date the applica- tion form was received , the subject and intend of the re- spective event, and according to availability of exhibition space and locations. Special requests will be given due consideration in line with these criteria, however, without giving any guarantees for realization. Registration opening hours (participants, speaker, media and industry participants) The registration desk will be located on the entrance lev- el in the main entrance lobby. Scientific programme All session halls will be located within the congress center. Details of the sessions with updates can be found on the meeting website www.eadvcopenhagen2015, and onsite from the congress app as well as the “Programme-at-a- Glance” touchpoint walls located in the registration area. Scientific e-poster interactive area The e-poster interactive area will be located in the area “terrace” on the first floor of the congress center. Shell scheme stands The shell scheme stands will be ordered by the exhibitors through the Bella Center’s Exhibitor Services webshop. Shell scheme stand package includes: Space only stands Free-build stands are allocated on a space only basis. This means that no stand services are provided within the package. Stand drawings of all proposed space, with elec- trical plans, whenever possible, must be submitted to the EADV exhibition department for approval, no later than 31 July 2015. It is very important to inform the EADV exhibition@ea- dvcongress.org the name and contact details of your se- lected stand constructor/agency as well as to share this manual with them. It is the responsibility of free-build exhibitors to observe the building, fire, health and safety regulations of the venue. All structures, materials, special designs, unusual constructions and signs shall conform to health & safe- ty standards and comply with the local fire department regulations. Any display work of materials contravening this clause must be modified to meet the requirements. Please take note that no exhibitor will be permitted to span an aisle by ceiling or floor covering without author- ization from the organisers. Staffing and stand displays The exhibitor must ensure that his stand is ready at least 30 minutes before the official opening of the exhibition on each day of the meeting. Articles to be exhibited must be kept within the stand perimeter. Stands must be staffed during the opening hours of the exhibition. Exhibits are not to be removed until the exhi- bition has closed, including the last day of the meeting. From Thursday, 8 October 2015 09h00 until Saturday, 10 October 2015 17h30 all stands are to remain in then in en- tity, no dismantling during this period is permitted. Stand decoration Under no circumstances may the exhibitor increase the ex- hibition space beyond the space that has been allocated to him. The organizer does not permit the total enclosure of the stand. The exhibitor or his contractor may not interfere with the exhibition building in any way whatsoever. Any damage cause by their acts of negligence will be the responsibility of the exhibitor, who will be required to indemnify the organiser and its contractors against any claim arising from such damage. Equipment displayed or demonstrated must be installed according to the safety regulations issued by the meeting venue. The fireproofing of the installations must be made by a qualified company issuing the certificate of and approved organisation. Excessive audible and visual attention-get- ting devices or effects are prohibited. The exhibitor must have the certificate of reaction to fire of the materials used for the arrangement or decoration at the disposal of the meeting venue. Stand design approval The exhibitor is free to choose his own stand constructor. In case the exhibitor wants to erect his own stand con- struction or does not require a standard modular stand construction that may be provided by the exhibition agent, the exhibitor is to arrange for detailed stand de- sign plans to be sent to the EADV at exhibition@eadvcon- gress.org by 31 July 2015. The organiser holds the right to refuse, amend or other- wise deal with any plans as deemed necessary. It is strict- ly forbidden for the exhibitor to exceed the maximum

Trolleys Exhibitors are advised to make their own arrangements for handling exhibits, brochures, etc. Your are advised to contact the official freight forwarding agency for any ad- ditional requirements. It is to be noted, that vehicles (in- cluding forklift trucks) are not admitted within the exhibi- tion area. Pallet trucks and other handling machines must be equipped with rubber wheels and may only be operat- ed by the venue or the official freight forwarding agent. The location of power outlets, elec- tricity cables as well as telephone/internet installations must be indicated. Only with the written approval of the organiser shall the stand drawings be deemed released for construction.

targeted to Healthcare Professionals, as per definition above, shall include compulsory information; name of the product, its common name, the name of the marketing authorization holder, summary of product characteristics, contraindications, adverse reactions and risks, dosage, pharmaceutical forms, pack sizes, dated price incl. The word pharmacy must not be used in advertising for non-pharmacy-restricted medicinal products, cf. section 60(1), or for products other than medicinal products, un- less the person responsible for the advertising can docu- ment that the product is generally sold at pharmacies in Denmark. General requirements to content and forms of advertising to the Public and Healthcare Professionals (section 63 of the Danish Medicines Act) state that advertising shall be adequate and objective, and shall not mislead or exagger- ate the characteristics of the medicinal product. DANISH ETHICAL RULES FOR PROMOTION OF MEDICI- NAL PRODUCTS TOWARDS HEALTHCARE PROFESSION- ALS AND THE EADV CONGRESS COMPLIANCE FOR THE 24 TH EADV CONGRESS, 7-11 OCTOBER 2015, COPENHA- GEN, DENMARK Introduction The Danish Ethical Rules for Promotion of Medicinal Prod- ucts towards Heathcare Professionals (2011) and the Dan- ish Medicines Act (2013) with its updated Executive Order (November 1, 2014) are based on the European Union Di- rective 2001/83/EC, which states that prescription-only medicines should be directed solely at Healthcare Profes- sionals who are able to prescribe or dispense them. The Danish regulations define Healthcare Professionals as: “Persons authorised to work in the physician, dentistry, pharmaceutical, nursing, veterinarian, veterenerian-nurs- ing profession and pharmaconomists, midwifes, bioana- lysts, clinical dietitians, radiographers and students within this field. Some non-healthcare professionalists handling medicinal products as part of their profession, can also be exposed to advertisement of medicinal products. To en- sure that the 24 th EADV Congress complies with local and national regulations, access to the prescription product Exhibition area, Satellite symposia and Meet-the-Expert sessions presenting development, research or other is- sues related to prescription medicine will be restricted to Healthcare Professionals and Industry participants only. Access to the Satellite symposia and Meet-the-Expert ses- sions of companies producing prescription medicine and presenting development, research or other issues related to prescription medicines at their session will be restrict- ed to Healthcare Professionals only as well as to Industry participants. This will have to be mentioned on invitations, banners and documents related to the symposia/sessions. Satellite symposia and Meet-the-Expert sessions organ- ized by companies producing over-the-counter (OTC) products will be open to all participants. About advertising and sponsorship The Danish Medicines Act prohibits any advertising of me- dicinal products that are not legally sold or dispensed in Denmark after approval and the issue of marketing au- thorisation by the Danish Health and Medicines Authority or by the European Commission. of the marketing authorisation or his representative. Samples may not be distributed from a pharmacy. vii.Each medical sample must be accompanied by its re- lated summary of product characteristics. Samples of medicinal products covered by the Danish Act on Euphoriants may not be distributed. Lotteries/competitions and sales at the exhibition Section 22 of the Danish Executive Order on Advertising of Medicinal Products states that competitions must not be arranged for Healthcare Professionals and that priz- es must not be offered to them as part of advertising or otherwise with the intention of promoting the sale of a medicinal product. This prohibition is absolute and the nature of the competition and the value of the prize are unimportant. All direct sales to Congress participants is strictly forbid- den within the Congress venue premises. However, com- panies (books, equipment etc.) can take order forms at their booth and handle invoicing and delivery from coun- tries where they are VAT registered after the Congress. EADV Congress compliance It is mandatory for all exhibitors to comply with local and regional regulations for the promotion of pharmaceutical products at the 24 th EADV Congress, 7 - 11 October 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark. general rules and regulations related to advertising and distributing information of prescription only products. Exhibition As a result of the above regulations for promotion of pharmaceutical products in Denmark, only persons wear- ing the following types of badges will have access to the prescription area of the exhibition: n n Participant - Healthcare Professional - these partici- pants will have to meet the criteria of Healthcare Pro- fessional defined in the Danish regulations and have to indicate it when registering to the Congress. n n Industry participants - persons registered and work- ing with the pharmaceutical industry having regis- tered for the full Congress programme. n n Exhibitor - persons working with an exhibiting phar- maceutical company and working at their stand, but not participating in the Congress programme. n n Media - accredited medical journalist possessing a Press card. Distribution of samples at the exhibition The Danish Ministry of Interior and Health specifies rules on the extent to which medicinal products can be distrib- uted to Healthcare Professionals (section 67(2) of the Danish Medicines Act. section 1 of its executive order on distribution of samples of medicinal products). The rules define that free samples of medicinal products may only be distributed on the following conditions: i. Samples of medicinal products may only be distribut- ed to doctors, dentist, veterinarians and only to the extent that the concerned persons are qualified to prescribe medicinal products and are permitted to use the product as part of their activities within the medical, dental or veterinary field, respectively. ii. One sample only of each medicinal product may be distributed to every doctor, dentist or veterinarian every year. If the medicinal product is available in sev- eral pharmaceutical forms and strengths, a sample for each form and strength may be distributed. iii. The sample of medicinal product may not be larger than the smallest pack available on the market. iv. The pack must be marked “Free medical sample - not for resale”. v. Medical samples must be distributed only in response to a written request, signed and dated by the recipi- ent. vi. Medical samples may only be supplied by the holder

of the intended purpose of the event. The EADV reserves the right to refuse single exhibits or activities, in particular if not adequately related to the objective and purpose of the event. In particular the EADV reserves the right to re- fuse presentation material and / or methods found to be unsuitable or undesirable to the event or to be harmful, disturbing or intolerable to the visitors of the event, even after admittance, at the responsibility and cost of the appli- cant or presenting agency, and may, if warranted, order the removal or temporary storage of unauthorized exhibits or materials. In the aforementioned eventualities, the affect- ed parties forgo all rights to any claims against the EADV. The applicant is the sole debtor of all payments and as such the sole responsible for timely payment to the EADV of all agreed amounts for all agreed Industry activities. This also pertains to services provided by third parties which have been advanced by the EADV within the con- tractual framework to the benefit of the applicant or of the presenting agency. All prices are net and require the addition of the legal VAT , if applicable. 3.2 Due date and case of default All amounts are due on the date indicated in the invoice of the EADV. If no due date is indicated, then any amounts are immediately due. Any and all supplementary services, among other if granted on-site before or at the event, will be invoiced immediately after termination of the event and become immediately due. The debtor is in default once the date indicated in the invoice has passed without performance of full payment. The EADV may remind the debtor, but the reminder is of no relevance for the de- fault. In case of default, a penalty interest p.a. of Euribor rate 3 months plus 5 % is due and payable. 3.3 Set-off The set-off of claims of the EADV against claims of the ap- plicant is admissible only in case of direct, well founded and uncontested counterclaims of the applicant against the EADV. 4.Allocation The EADV allocates any industry activities primarily con- sidering the effective availability and the date of receipt by the EADV of the order form of the applicant. Special requests of the applicant will be paid due attention in the context of the above criteria, but may not bind the EADV. 3.Payments 3.1 Sole debtor

1. Application and acceptance 1.1 Application

The application for industry activities (exhibitions, Sat- ellite symposia, Meet-the-Expert sessions , advertising, sponsored items, etc.) at any of the EADV congresses is valid only if filed to EADV in writing by using an official EADV ’s order form. The order formmust be filled in truth- fully and diligently and must carry legally binding signa- tures of the applicant. 1.2 Binding character The order form is an offer legally binding the applicant. The signature of the applicant on the order form certifies among other the knowledge and acceptance by the appli- cant of the present General Terms and Conditions. The Ap- plicant ensures that all persons in its employ or somehow under its control at the venue are thoroughly instructed on and abide all relevant portions of the present General Terms and Conditions. 1.3 Acceptance EADV is not obliged to accept any order forms of any ap- plicants. EADV accepts order forms only through EADV’s written confirmations under the specific terms stated therein in writing. The contract between EADV and the applicant is effective after the applicant has been silent for the ten days following the date of EADV ’s written con- firmation. Exceptional or additional contractual provisions bind the parties only if specifically agreed upon in writing. 1.4 Contract components Mandatory contract components are: a) the written confirmation from EADV , b) the exceptional or additional contractual provisions in writing, if any, and c) the present General Terms and Conditions. In case of discrepancies, above a) has priority over above b) and c), while above b) has priority over above c). Said components contain all of the covenants by and be- tween the parties with regard to their object. They shall replace any prior oral or written agreement between the parties with regard to their object. The contract between the parties may be validly amended only in writing. 2.Right of refusal The EADV reserves the right to refuse at any time any Indus- try activities to single applicants among other for reasons of practicality or compliancewith the relevant laws and reg- ulations. The EADV may limit participation to certain repre- sentative groups deemed imperative to the achievement
