First Mates Mention This is our last full month to enjoy our island. Weather wise it feels like summer just started. Thank you to our First Mates who have stepped up and accepted the nomination for 2014 First Mates Board of Directors. Ballots will be going out soon, please make sure you vote. Thank you nominating committee for your time and effort, also to Donna Glick for chairing the committee this year. Good luck to all the candidates. THANK YOU Kathy Bell and crew for a delicious Labor Day dinner, you out did yourself. Putting together a dinner at NCYC is a huge under taking and we all truly appreciate your time, treasure and talents. Our next First Mates General Membership meeting will be held at the clubhouse on Saturday, October 5 th at 10:00am. Hope you can join us; all NCYC ladies are welcome. The annual First Mates Haul Out breakfast is Sunday, October 6 th . Watch your email for more information. Please join us if you are on the island. Lastly, the Boatique still has many great items for sale. Stop in and get your island gear.
