b) Pyridoxal Pyridoxal is one of the three natural forms of vitamin B6, along with pyridoxamine and pyridoxine (also called "pyridoxol"). Pyridoxal is the primary inherent for of B6 in animal based food, and therefore the primary form in milk and milk powders. The molecular formula for Pyridoxal is C 8 H 9 NO 3 and its molecular weight is 167.16 g/mol. Common synonyms include 3-hydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)-2-methylpyridine-4-carbaldehyde The CAS# for Pyridoxal is 66-72-8. The chemical structure of Pyridoxal is shown below:

c) Pyridoxamine Pyridoxamine is one of the compounds composing vitamin B6. Pyridoxamine is based on a pyridine ring, with hydroxyl, methyl, aminomethyl, and hydroxymethyl substituents. It differs from pyridoxine by the substitution at the 4-position.

Common synonyms include 4-(aminomethyl)-5-(hydroxymethyl)-2-methylpyridin-3-ol The CAS# for Pyridoxamine is 86-87-0. The chemical structure of Pyridoxamine is shown below:
