Cattlemen and Cattlewomen:

Welcome to the 26 th Annual Lisco/M Diamond Wyoming Tested Tough Bull Sale. Friendship and a common view point about raising good, functional cattle brought our two families together, but it’s the support and belief in our programs from our customers that have kept us going for more than 26 years. We would like to thank those who have supported our programs and welcome those who are attending for the first time. The friendships we have made over the last 26 years are the true treasures of this business. We will again hold the sale at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds Arena in Casper, Wyo. It is a great facility that we are glad to call home. Plan to be our guests for lunch at 11 a.m., and please stay for the hospitality afterward. For those of you who would like to haul your bulls home but want to enjoy what Casper has to offer, dolly your trailer down at the fairgrounds and pick up your bulls the following day by noon. Our registered Angus cattle are truly born and bred to thrive under Wyoming’s tough range conditions. Our calves are raised on mama’s milk, grass and lots of Wyoming scenery. Mother Nature is allowed to take its course so that we can truly identify those with the “Drive to Thrive.” With fluctuating markets and ever-changing range conditions, the Angus female is and will always be at the forefront of our breeding programs. We demand that our cows utilize available forage and convert it efficiently in order to breed back on time and bring in a big, healthy calf at weaning. We also place an emphasis on traits not measured by EPDs – fertility, fleshing ability, mothering ability, udder quality, disposition and structural correctness. Yearling bulls are again being fed in Hemingford, Neb., at the Bolek Feedlot. Gary and Brad do an outstanding job of allowing the bulls to express their genetic potential while maintaining their functionality and soundness as range bulls. The bulls have also been PAP tested by Dr. Lanny Weddle. He can answer any of your questions at (970) 723-8314. All sale bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam, tested negative for PI BVD and have been PAP scored. The bulls will be at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds at noon on March 20 for your inspection prior to the sale. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email.
