IFRS Consolidated Financial Statements of BPCE SA group as at December 31, 2017

The Group’s approachto the managementof overall interest rate risk and foreign exchange risk is discussed in Chapter 3 – Liquidity, interest rateand exchange rate risks. 7.4 Liquidity risk is the risk that the Group will be unable to honor its payment commitmentsas they fall due and replace funds when they are withdrawn. The funding proceduresand liquidity risk managementarrangements are disclosed inthe risk managementreport. Disclosures relating to the managementof liquidity risk required by IFRS 7 are provided in Chapter 3 – Risk management report – Liquidity, interestrate and foreign exchange risk. The table below shows the amounts of financial instrument by contractual maturity date. assets, non-performingloans, hedgingderivativesand remeasurement adjustmentson interest rate risk-hedgedportfolios are placed in the “Perpetual” column. These financial instruments are: either held for saleor redeemedprior to their contractual maturity; ● or held for sale or redeemedat an indeterminabledate (particularly ● where they have nocontractual maturity); or measured on the balance sheet for an amount impacted by ● revaluation effects. Accrued interest not yet due is shown in the “Less than 1 month” column. The amounts shown are contractual amounts excluding projected interest. The technical provisionsof insurance companies,which, for the most part are equivalent to demand deposits, are not shown in the table below.
